Ben Hangen, PT, MPT, OCS
Physical Therapist
Ben is originally from Rockville, MD. He did his undergraduate work at Eastern University and earned his Master’s in Physical Therapy from Drexel University in Philadelphia. After graduation in 1997, Ben treated patients at an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy center where he received further training on manual therapy techniques and performance training. He moved to the Upstate of SC in 2004, and is now a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) with the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. While Ben is not at the office, he likes to be outdoors camping and fishing, golfing, or woodworking.

Paul Hecker, PT, MSPT, OCS
Physical Therapist
Paul is a native of South Carolina. He earned his undergraduate degree here in Greenville at Furman University, majoring in Health and Exercise Science. After receiving his Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mobile in Mobile, Alabama, he has since then focused on Orthopedics and Manual Therapy. He is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) with the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. His clinical interests include treatment of the spine with Manual Therapy and Functional Training. Paul’s down time is spent with family, and his hobbies include golf and the outdoors.

Ben Roling, PT, MSPT, OCS
Physical Therapist
Ben received his undergraduate education at Newberry College and later earned his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003. He has been working in the outpatient orthopedic setting since graduation and is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) with the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Ben has received further training in manual therapy and in 2010 he completed a post-professional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University.

Crystal Marshall, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Originally from Batesburg-Leesville, SC, Crystal received her degree from Midlands Technical College in West Columbia. She has worked at other outpatient clinics after graduation and has taken additional courses, since receiving her license, which focused on specific soft tissue mobilization techniques called The Graston Technique®. She looks forward to further her knowledge of manual therapy, here in the Upstate.

Sally Kate Patterson
Public Relations Coordinator
Sally Kate joins us from Clinton, South Carolina as our Public Relations Coordinator. With a Business degree from Presbyterian College, she helps out Elite by developing relationships with referring doctors’ offices and local businesses. She actively involves Elite in community events, such as the Carolina First Reedy River Run and Upstate Women’s Show. In her spare time, Sally Kate likes to be adventurous in the kitchen and experiment with new recipes!
